2 injured after alleged Antifa assault of GOP Stan Pulliam’s campaign rally

Multiple videos circulated on social media showing alleged Antifa members throwing smoke bombs, fireworks, and other objects into a GOP rally crowd supporting mayor Stan Pulliam, a Republican running for Governor of Oregon.

More footage from PDX as Antifa attacked our campaign supporters. No surprise…underfunded police didn't show in time to allow our free speech. #FundThePolice #WarOnWoke #orpol #orgov (1/2) pic.twitter.com/nWiFzIec1Y

Officers responded over 20 minutes later to a call about shots fired and people throwing objects at people and off overpasses.

A statement from the Portland Police confirmed that “were only a few officers available in the precinct.” and they also confirmed that 2 people had sustained injuries from “mortars” in the incident.

The incident happened the same day the Portland Police had issued another statement warning that Friday evening was “an extraordinarily busy evening of significant events” that limited their resources. There were five shootings, three serious crashes and one stolen ambulance in that short time span.

Stan Pulliam released the following statement on Twitter, in which he called Portland a “city of riots”.

Earlier today we tried to hold a rally as #Antifa rioters attacked. This city doesn't belong to the woke left & we're going to keep talking about the issues as voters fill out their ballots! And as our next Governor, I’ll put these punks in jail. #WarOnWoke #ORpol #ORgov (1/2) pic.twitter.com/c1dj3DIJ1B
